SMK was a hugely successful preteen sitcom on Astro Ceria and we were entrusted to create an animated pilot episode to explore fan interest in an animated series spin-off. We knew that being true to the show and its unique characters would be critical for the success of such adaptations, so we scripted the episode such that the characters were driving the story consistent with their personalities, and we got the original cast to voice the characters.
